Meet Your Optometrist at White Oak Vision Center
Dr. Tiffany Young takes the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options, and listen to your eye care needs. Maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, so we encourage you to ask questions and share relevant health information.
Dr. Young is a graduate of Western University of Health Sciences. She completed a residency in primary eye care and ocular disease at the Cincinnati VA Eye Clinic in 2017. Dr. Young focuses on caring for patients with eye disease, including diabetic retinopathy, and managing dry eye. She has lectured and presented case reports at optometric conferences, including the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Young is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Federal Advocacy Representative (FAR) for Ohio. She currently serves on subcommittees for the Ohio Optometric Association (OOA) and volunteers for the award-winning RealEyes program. She served as Zone Governor for the Cincinnati region from 2020 to 2022 and currently serves on the Cincinnati board. Dr. Young received the OOA’s 2023 Jack T. Keith Young Optometrist of the Year award.
Dr. Young enjoys spending time with her husband and baby, traveling, Pure Barre, and learning to golf
Dr. Rose Bittinger is excited to be caring for patients in her new home state of Ohio. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Applied Physiology & Sports Management from Southern Methodist University and went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at The Ohio State University College of Optometry, graduating magna cum laude. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Kappa, the international optometric honor society.
During her clinical training, Dr. Rose gained experience in a variety of practice settings, including the Salisbury Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Five Points Eye Care, and Mid-Ohio Eye Physicians and Surgeons. These experiences strengthened her interest in comprehensive eye care, particularly the treatment and management of ocular disease and dry eye.
Dr. Rose was drawn to optometry because of the unique combination of medicine and fashion that comes with prescribing eyewear. She loves helping patients find glasses that not only provide clear vision, but also complement their style and help them look and feel confident.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Rose enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, whom she met in optometry school.
