Rose Bittinger, O.D.

Dr. Rose Bittinger is excited to be caring for patients in her new home state of Ohio. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Applied Physiology & Sports Management from Southern Methodist University and went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at The Ohio State University College of Optometry, graduating magna cum laude. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Kappa, the international optometric honor society.

During her clinical training, Dr. Rose gained experience in a variety of practice settings, including the Salisbury Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Five Points Eye Care, and Mid-Ohio Eye Physicians and Surgeons. These experiences strengthened her interest in comprehensive eye care, particularly the treatment and management of ocular disease and dry eye.

Dr. Rose was drawn to optometry because of the unique combination of medicine and fashion that comes with prescribing eyewear. She loves helping patients find glasses that not only provide clear vision, but also complement their style and help them look and feel confident.

When she’s not in the office, Dr. Rose enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, whom she met in optometry school.
